Sneakers or tennis shoes? What do you call, and where you grew up? I am the center-west of the shoe say
My husband grew up in California, tennis shoes are required. I'm from Wisconsin and call them sneakers. He thinks that basketball is a bit old-fashioned word for word day people from the Midwest just to say "shoes". I wonder what most people call them? Also can you tell us where he grew up to determine if really where you live determines what you call it. Anyone know if the story why we call sneakers … It is a strange word
"I still call my Nike" tennis shoes "! I think the word "shoes" that shoes with rubber soles, so no one can hear that "sneaking over" ha ha! I grew up in Oklahoma. I am a child of 60! Good question!
